Three steps, one of them yours.

Upload your song
A finished WAV, FLAC or AIFF and a square cover, at least 3000 by 3000 pixels. Type the title, who wrote it, the genre and the language. That is the whole form.

We check it
The moment both files are up, a free automatic check reads them: the format, the sample rate, the cover size. Your page says the files are ready, or what to fix. When you send it, a person at the label listens, looks at the cover and reads the credits. Nothing goes out without that.

We deliver it
Your release goes to Spotify, Apple Music and the other stores under your artist name, with the codes the stores need (the ISRC and UPC) and the paperwork done. You get the date, then the link.

The honest part
What this is, and what it is not.
Four things we would rather say here than have you find out later.
- The music is yours.
- You wrote it, you recorded it, you own it. You must own the song and the cover, and nobody else may have a claim on them. We take no rights in your masters, now or later.
- You are the artist on the record.
- Your artist name and your credits are on every store page. The streaming royalties are paid out to you on statements: 100% on Pro, and after a 9% label share on a $10 single. We are paid by the single fee, the Pro fee, the marketing fee and that 9%, and by nothing else.
- We control three things.
- Review: a person checks every release before it goes anywhere, and some come back with a note. Delivery: releases go out through the label's distribution account, so the stores list us, not you, as the company that sent them. Timing: release dates come from our schedule, not from the button.
- Nothing else is promised.
- Not a number of streams, not followers, not a figure. Releases on the marketing plan are pitched to playlists and considered on the same terms as everything else. Paying does not put a song on a playlist. Placement is not for sale, here or anywhere the stores' rules apply.

Royalties: on Pro you keep 100% of the streaming royalties your releases earn; on a $10 single the label keeps 9% and pays you the rest. Statements are issued as the stores report, usually two to three months after the stream, and paid out once your balance reaches the minimum in the royalty terms. Refunds: a single fee is refunded if we decline the song. The Pro fee is refunded in full within 14 days if you have not sent a song to the stores. Marketing fees are not refunded once the month's ads have started.

Questions people ask before they pay.
What do I need to have ready?
A finished song as a WAV, FLAC or AIFF file, and a square cover picture at least 3000 by 3000 pixels, as a JPG or PNG. The title, the real name of who wrote it, the genre and the language. That is all. If you are missing one of these, the upload page tells you which.
Do I keep my rights?
Yes. You own your song and your cover before, during and after. We never take a share of your masters (the recording) or your songwriting rights. You give us permission to deliver the release to the stores and to collect the royalties so we can pay them to you. The details are in the terms.
What does it cost?
Nothing to upload, fill in the credits, or have the files checked. When you send a song to the stores it is $10, once, and the label keeps 9% of what that song earns. Or go Pro for $10 a month or $100 a year: unlimited singles, 100% of the royalties, review within a day. The release page shows both when it is time to pay.
What does "review" mean?
Two checks. First, the moment both files are up, a free automatic check reads the format, the sample rate and the cover size and tells you if something needs a fix. Then, when you send it, a person at the label listens to the song, looks at the cover and reads the credits. If a credit looks wrong, it comes back to you with a note that says what to fix. You fix it and send it again at no charge. Nothing reaches a store without that check.
When do I get paid?
Stores report streams two to three months after they happen. We issue a statement when they report and pay out on it. Small balances roll forward until they reach the payout minimum, which is set out in the royalty terms.
How long does a release take?
Upload takes minutes. Review usually takes a few days. Stores take one to two weeks to go live after delivery. Plan on about three weeks from upload to Spotify. You see the date as soon as it is set.
Can I use my existing artist name?
Yes. Type it in and paste the link to your Spotify artist page, and the release lands on that page. A name already in use on the platform by someone else cannot be used twice.
What about cover songs, samples or bought beats?
Not yet. Every release must be written and owned by you. A cover of someone else's song, a sample you do not own, or a beat without paperwork will be sent back. We are working on the paperwork for those.
Do you accept explicit lyrics?
Not yet. Clean versions only for now. Explicit releases are coming.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from your account. Pro runs to the end of the month or year you paid for. Marketing stops at the end of the month. Songs already in stores stay up and keep paying you, unless you ask for a takedown.
